Apple Pie Recipe
Given to me by my sister Nancy
Ingredients

Granny Smith Apples (1 1/2 dozen)

Sugar (1 cup)

Flour (2 Tbsp.) + 1/2 cup.

Nutmeg & cinnamon
(1/2 tsp. each)

Butter (1 stick)
Instructions
1. Peel & cube the apples and put into a large bowl with some lime juice.
2. Mix together the following:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg & cinnamon
Add this mixture to the apples.
3. Mix together the following:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 stick butter. (best if frozen)
Process in food processor until crumbly.
4. Add the following mixtures on top of the apples.
5. Add crust over the apples.
- Add some egg yoke to the surface of the crust and sprinkle with sugar.
- Cut four slits in the top of the crust to allow venting.
6. Put in paper bag.
Staple closed.
7. Bake at for one hour at 425 ºF.
Don't worry, according to my friend Ray the paper won't burn until it reaches
451 ºF.
